The history of the company begins on June 3, 2010, when the Memorandum of understanding and approval of the list of basic conditions for establishing a joint venture for manufacturing and maintenance of railway passenger coaches in Astana between the President of JSC NC KTZ Askar Mamin and Patentes Talgo S.L.U. Director José María Oriol Fabra was signed.

Passenger Rail Coaches Manufacturing Plant in Astana was designed and built in accordance with international quality standards, high profitability and efficiency of the production process and has no parallel in the CIS.

The project was implemented within the framework of the State Program of Forced Innovative-industrial development.

The aim of this production is not only to meet the needs of the Kazakhstani market, but also to export products to the CIS and beyond.

The inauguration of the plant took place in December 2011.

The Company gives preference to equipment, materials and finished products manufactured in the Republic of Kazakhstan in case if they are competitive in both price and quality terms, and meet environmental and technological requirements.

The Company gives priority to local service providers, including domestic producers, in the exercise of its activities, if these services are competitive in both price and quality terms, as well as quality and efficiency.

Over the period 2015 – 2019, it is planned to produce 603 wide body coaches for the internal market. Over 2017 - 2022 a project for the production of 459 cars in the project Regional Rail is planned to implement.

The Company has experience selling in the domestic market.
